Fabrication Films is a worldwide distributor of cutting edge, commercial, feature films. During the last 10 years, Fabrication has marketed and distributed over 100 films. 

In its capacity as an international film sales company, Fabrication attends all major international film markets, including the American Film Market, MIPCOM, MIPTV, Sundance, Berlin Film Festival, Cannes Film Festival and the Toronto Film Festival.

Some of the company’s recent releases include BROTHER’S JUSTICE starring Dax Shepard, Tom Arnold, Bradley Cooper and Nate Tuck, CAUGHT IN THE CROSSFIRE starring Chris Klein and Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson and Nine Dead starring Melissa Joan Hart. Previously, Fabrication theatrically released the Independent Spirit Award nominated CONVERSATIONS WITH OTHER WOMEN starring Helena Bonham Carter and Aaron Eckhart, LAST DISPATCH which had the second highest per screen average in the country for its opening weekend and the acclaimed music documentary LA TROPICAL directed by Pulitzer prize winner David Turnley. KJEHL RASMUSSEN

Kjehl Rasmussen is the founder of Fabrication Films. Throughout his career, Mr. Rasmussen has been engaged in all aspects of the entertainment industry, including the finance, production, acquisition and distribution of feature-length films, television series and commercials and live entertainment.

Mr. Rasmussen has produced or executive produced eight feature-length films, including the Independent Spirit Award nominated Conversations With Other Women starring Helena Bonham Carter and Aaron Eckhart, Behind the Red Door starring Kiefer Sutherland, Kyra Sedgwick, and Stockard Channing, the Independent Spirit Award nominated The Corndog Man; the Miramax Films release Animal Behavior starring Armand Assante, Karen Allen and Holly Hunter, the Fabrication releases Once Upon a Wedding starring Esai Morales and A Martinez, The Californians starring Noah Wyle and Illeana Douglas, Her Name is Carla starring Julian Sands and the feature length music documentary La Tropical directed by Pulitzer prize winning director David Turnley.

Mr. Rasmussen’s primary emphasis is strategic planning and evaluating potential business initiatives for the company. Mr. Rasmussen is an experienced intellectual property attorney.

 

MIRIAM ELCHANAN

Miriam Elchanan currently serves as Senior Vice President of Sales and Acquisitions at Fabrication Films and has been with Fabrication since its inception.

Ms. Elchanan is responsible for overseeing the company’s worldwide film and television distribution opportunities, including its theatrical releases. Ms. Elchanan has over a decade of experience in international film distribution, marketing and production.

Among the many titles that she has been involved with include Nine Dead starring Melissa Joan Hart, Caught in the Crossfire starring Chris Klein and Curtis “50 Cent Jackson” and Waking Madison starring Elizabeth Shue and Sarah Roemer. Ms. Elchanan has received credit on such films as the Independent Spirit Award nominated Conversations With Other Women starring Helena Bonham Carter and Aaron Eckhart, The Californians starring Noah Wylie and Ileana Douglas, Once Upon a Wedding starring Esai Morales, Kuno Becker and A Martinez and the theatrical documentary La Tropical directed by Pulitzer prize winner David Turnley.

Ms. Elchanan previously worked as Director of Worldwide Distribution at Outrider Pictures where she was responsible for the acquisition and distribution of over 100 films, including the theatrical release of such highly regarded films as The Business of Fancy Dancing (the sequel to the highly successful Sundance hit Smoke Signals) and Bartleby starring Crispin Glover which opened to rave reviews in New York. Ms. Elchanan began her career working in the international sports management and talent agency industry where she represented children and various sports related talent, including the Dallas Cowboys on numerous advertising campaigns.
